Moncove Lake State Park
A beautiful location with many opportunities
In 1960 Devil Creek was dammed, creating Moncove Lake. The state park was later created in 1990 and included 250 acres of Wildlife Management land.
On a warm summer day, many people say it’s time to get away to relax. Thoughts of nature lure fishermen to Moncove Lake to fish the 144 acres for largemouth bass, bluegill, trout, catfish, walleye, and yellow perch. You may fish from your own boat, a retal, the shore, or the pier.
Many other ammenities and activities are available at Moncove Lake including camping, hiking, swimming, and biking. Camping includes camper and tent sites, reservations are highly recommended.
